FAQ

General

Is The Rock just a gym?
No. The Rock is a full-system wellness center that integrates fitness, recovery, fuel, mindset, and community. You can train here, recover here, refuel here, and reset here — all under one roof.

Do I need to be in shape to join?
Absolutely not. Many of our members start exactly where they are. We’re built for beginners, experienced lifters, and everyone in between.

Is this a good fit if I’ve had injuries, chronic pain, or burnout?
Yes. A large part of what we do is helping people rebuild strength and confidence safely. Training, recovery, and coaching can all be adjusted to your current capacity.

Memberships & Gym Access

No contracts. No joining fees. No hidden charges. You can start at any time.

Yes. We offer day passes so you can experience the space and see if it’s the right fit.

Training & Coaching

What’s the difference between Playbook, hybrid coaching, and one-on-one training?

  • Playbook gives you structured programs you can follow independently.

  • Hybrid coaching adds ongoing support and check-ins for accountability and flexibility.

  • One-on-one training provides hands-on, in-person coaching by appointment.

You can use one option or layer them together.

Do I have to work with a coach to be a member?
No. Coaching is optional. Some members train independently, while others prefer added guidance.

Can I switch between training options later?
Yes. As your needs change, your training approach can change with you.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Getting Started at The Rock Is Simple

You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You just need a starting point.

Here’s how most people begin.

Step 1: Decide How You Want to Train

There’s no single “right” way to train here.

Option 1: Train Independently
Join the gym and follow your own routine or a Playbook program.

Option 2: Train With Structure
Use Playbook programs for guided workouts and progression.

Option 3: Train With Support
Choose hybrid coaching or one-on-one training for accountability and guidance.

You can change or layer these options anytime.

Step 2: Choose Your Level of Support

Some people want full independence.
Others want coaching, feedback, or accountability.

  • Playbook → structure without appointments

  • Hybrid coaching → structure + flexibility + support

  • One-on-one training → personalized, hands-on coaching

All options are designed to work with real life — not against it.

Step 3: Add Recovery and Fuel (Optional, But Powerful)

Results aren’t built by training alone.

Many members choose to add:

  • Infrared sauna or cold plunge sessions

  • Mobility or stretch therapy

  • Café drinks and nutrition support

These aren’t requirements — they’re tools to help you feel better and stay consistent.

Step 4: Plug Into the Community (If You Want)

Some people come for the gym.
Some stay for the community.

You can:

  • Attend events

  • Join seminars

  • Participate in FIRE Ladies 365

  • Or simply train quietly on your own

There’s room for every personality here.

Not Sure Where to Start?

That’s normal.

If you’re unsure:

  • Start with a day pass

  • Start with a Playbook program

  • Or reach out here, and we’ll help you choose

There’s no pressure to do everything at once.
